"Reps answer a few questions, and the e-Con rules engine determines the right machines, materials, and standards. Result? A fast, error-free quote-to-order process, with an application that works like a native part of Dynamics 365."

They’re leaders in circular economy models, which promote recovery and continual re-use of standard pallets and boxes through sustainable pooling systems. Pooling Partners: Configuring sustainable pallets and boxes
PoolingPartners uses e-Con CPQ to configure quotes and orders for pallets and boxes, with assurance that e-Con works as part of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and CRM. e-Con makes it fast and easy to configure complex specs and reduces risk for costing and order errors. Thanks to integration with Microsoft Dynamics, completed orders can go instantly to production, which is very important for the company’s business model of continuous re-use.
How e-Con CPQ simplifies complexity for Pooling Partners
The main goal for using e-Con is to calculate the costs for pallets, both as a quote (sales) and as order (production). Sales reps create quotes and when quotes convert to orders, the specs go straight to the production line to assemble the pallet machine.
The reason Pooling Partners turned to e-Con Solutions for product and sales configuration is that pallets can get complex, especially when they’re re-used in different scenarios. Entering specs directly into Dynamics NAV took too much time and effort. In addition, it was hard to maintain a complete overview in NAV, so there were too many data entry mistakes.
e-Con gave Pooling Partners a fast and clear overview of options, including the impact of choices for pricing and materials. For example, material types depend on what’s being transported on the pallet. With e-Con, reps can enter complex specs and be sure that they’re getting complete, accurate information from Dynamics.
Pooling Partner can also use e-Con to work with templates for different palette types to speed up configurations. Reps answer a few questions, and the e-Con rules engine determines the right machines, materials, and standards. Result? A fast, error-free quote-to-order process, with an application that works like a native part of Dynamics CRM and ERP.
