Customers Noldus

Noldus

Noldus Information Technology develops and delivers innovative software, hardware solutions and services for the measurement and analysis of behavior. Their offerings enable companies and universities to advance their research, product development, training, and education. Along with offices across Europe, North America, and China, Noldus is represented by a worldwide network of distributors.

The company was challenged by the complexity of creating sales orders within Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Salespeople could add articles on sales lines in NAV and generate proposals. The problem was that the product and price structures were complex, which made creating quotes in NAV a difficult and error-prone process.

Noldus decided that it wasn’t helpful for salespeople to access NAV directly. Instead, they wanted an application that helped users through the Quote-to-Order process, while integrating with NAV. They selected e-Con CPQ because it gave salespeople a guided selling experience for all options and variations needed for a quote. All relevant data, logic, and structures for products and customers came directly from NAV, presented in the user-friendly e-Con environment.

Before e-Con CPQ, sales engineers needed extensive ramp-up time to learn all product and pricing details. Now even the newest salesperson can focus on working with customers. All options, pricing, and calculations are automatically generated in e-Con. Quotes can be created in minutes or even seconds after creating a proposal.

e-Con CPQ also offers Noldus rich document generation, adding all selected products and prices (and variations) into a tailored proposal. Salespeople can go beyond generic brochures to deliver custom proposals and quotes that increase sales.
