With e-Con CPQ BPI configures orders based on customer data and specs for cans, plastic, quantity, and quality. Users work with ease via an online portal. e-Con gives users a guided, secure process to follow that ensures the order entry is accurate from the start. The order configuration model includes visual guidance, so e-Con CPQ can ensure that the design (in PDF) is uploaded correctly and that dimensions are accurate. e-Con also analyzes quality and offers all the checks and balances needed for a perfect order. An order that would take hours to complete manually can be accomplished in a few minutes, with no errors.
Customers can review the full status of the sales order in real time. In fact, any customer can configure an order via the e-Con Portal. This way of working is a huge benefit for everyone—without accessing Dynamics NAV, customers are still configuring orders into Dynamics NAV. While they follow the guided process in the web portal, e-Con CPQ is calculating and validating all their choices. As soon as a customer finishes, e-Con creates an order in the BPI Dynamics NAV database. Everything lives in Dynamics NAV, but the customer experiences no complexity, thanks to the flexible portal functionality of e-Con CPQ.
